Warehouse Tracking System

The BARSCAN Wireless Warehouse Tracking System (WTS) is a relatively inexpensive, customizable software package for managing warehouse operations. WTS runs on a SQL Server database and can be interfaced to wide variety of ERP and accounting systems.

It supports Windows CE based batch mode mobile computers and, with the wireless option, supports forklift truck mount and handheld RF mobile computers for recording the movement of materials. The wireless units communicate with the database server by means of LAN connected RF access points. The batch units communicate with the database when they are placed in data communication/battery charging cradles, which are connected to PCs by means of USB connectors. WTS enables materials managers to view the status of all material in real time using PCs connected to the database server over the LAN.
